Brooch

‘ergon Mykonos brooch is inspired by the winged phallic birds found on plaques at Delos island with inscriptions in ancient Greek reading: “ΤΟΥΤΟ ΕΜΟΙ ΚΑΙ ΤΟΥΤΟ ΣΟΙ” (this for me and this for you). Phallic birds were popular symbols of fertility in Ancient Greece, served as decorations and at the same time protected houses and individuals against evil and bad fortune.
