For the launch of our SS24 collection ‘CORE’ a small scale art exhibition was hosted in our showroom in the center of Athens, currated by our creative director Marietta Karpathiou.

The space was divided in different parts, creating diverse experiences for each one.

Firstly we ‘invited’ the guests into a surreal house party via a video projection of a dance art video for the ‘Rodi Homecoming’ collection in a room in the shades of hot pink, where the guests could put on headphones listen to the beats of Argy, a music producer coming from Rhodes, and mentally participate in the feast.

The second part of the exhibition was dedicated to the ‘Idol Collection’ a staple of ‘ergon mykonos. Important cultural figures in the shape of the eternal Cycladic idol. Paying homage to their impact we created a room where our guests could listen to iconic quotes or songs of those muses.

A very intimate part of the exhibition was the ‘poetry room’ where the room was transformed into a nostalgic beach filled with memories and the guests could watch a video performance of Greek actress Lida Manousaki, reciting a poem of Efi Maltezou.

Part of ‘HOPSCOTCH TO THE CORE’ exhibition was an photography arrangement narrating the brand’s history with photos from the very first collection up to the latest.

Last but not least, the main attraction of the exhibition was evidently the room dedicated to our latest SS24 collection, ‘CORE’. This year’s collection draws inspiration by the monumental sculpture of KOUROS. A take on 80s folklore maximalism and athleisure combined with minimal sculptural lines.
